“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
Albert Schweitzer

I would like to share a bit of insight with you that I learned a long time ago. When you do something that you love you will inevitably succeed. I’ve had the distinct pleasure of meeting many types of people, from all walks of life. The princes and the paupers. The victors and the victoria’s – oops- victims. Needless to say, my own dearest friends are a motley crew of diversity. I am proud to say they are all a deep reflection of my own transforming facets. The thing which I know to be constant is… those who succeed in finding joy are the ones who are really in triumph in their lives.
Lately, I have been struck by how many of us have forgotten to make time to treat themselves to joy in life. Yes, it does seem like there is an uphill climb at this time. Many people are facing some of their greatest fears – not knowing what tomorrow will bring. Yet, you can’t imagine how hard some people are on themselves. Some of us have got to learn to cut ourselves some slack. Loosen the tight hold on what is perceived to be right. Surrender to change to embrace a brighter reality. We tend to forget those things which make us truly content. What if we allowed for the space of the possibility of what we desire to take the leading role?
So as a reminder… I’d like to invite you to ask yourself these questions:
What is it that you love? How do you want to be seen in the world? Are you living up to your heartfelt goals?
And here is my challenge to you….
Make time to purposely schedule time for yourself. I mean more than going home to veg out in front of the TV. (Yeah, I know that’s me too). Intend to make time to tune in to what you personally value in life.
Create a space for yourself to shepherd the fear and doubt… It is no longer serving you.
Endeavor to have fun with the process and let that be your guide.
Release the drive to beat down what you think is “wrong”. What are you facing? Is there another way to solve your puzzle?
Believe in yourself and reconnect to your heart’s desire.
Make more time to care than to worry.
Choose to create a Beautiful Day.
LOVE your way!
T
PS. Did I mention I LOVE what I do?… Just saying.
